If you’ve been paying any attention to the events in Iran, or even listened in on their Friday Prayers, you may have noticed that Britain seems to have replaced America as the focal point for the Islamic Republic’s hatred. There are, of course, many factors contributing to this change, but the best I’ve seen comes from an article written by Con Coughlin in Britain’s Daily Telegraph.

The short version? Barack Obama’s popularity makes it more difficult for the Iranian administration to keep presenting America as the “Great Satan” it was under George W. Bush.
