I just love Slate.com’s imagination of what President Barack Obama’s Facebook newsfeed might look like. It’s very funny, particularly for those of us living (whether physically or mentally) inside the beltway who get all of these references. My personal favorite would have to be Laura Ling and Euna Lee joining the North Korea network and being unable to leave said network, or perhaps Governor Sarah Palin attending, then not attending, then attending the NRSC Fundraiser. And you can’t go wrong with Mahmoud denying the holocaust museum shooting.

But of course, every joke has a bit of truth to it, so while you’re reading this it will eventually occur to you that we have a lot of really, really weird stuff going on in our world these days. But give it a try – remember, it’s funny ‘cause it’s true.
