You don’t have to live in D.C. for exciting election action.

The town in which I went to high school, Cave Creek, Arizona, just decided a town council election using – drum roll, please – a deck of cards.  It’s been an interesting week for Phoenix-area affairs.

The Daily Telegraph has the full story, which is probably the most entertaining piece of journalism I’ve ever read. I also enjoy the irony in the fact that I read about this in a newspaper published some 6000 miles away, while I’m sure my parents – who still live in Cave Creek – have no idea this has occurred.
