Scoop44 published an op-ed in Sunday’s Boston Globe:
AT GEORGETOWN University on Tuesday, President Obama warned professors and students, “This is going to be prose, and not poetry.” Indeed, poetry it was not. Instead, what the audience heard was something of a lecture, and an informative, detailed one at that.

How interesting that in one hour the President could thoroughlyh explain the how and why of the most major crisis this country has ever had…..Please post his hourly speech so that the rest of the country can receive this timely information that has been withheld from us in one succently prepared doocumnt….the information in the following statement you made in this article will be very interesting to read…Ralph Powell
From one angle, Obama should be praised for his ability to reduce the intricacies of the financial system to a comprehensible hourlong address. He thoroughly explained the “how” and the “why” of the crisis and the government's response: how we arrived here, with 8.5 percent unemployment and trillions pledged in bailout and stimulus money, and why each policy decision embodies a vital tool with which the government will rebuild the economy.
April 29, 2009 at 6:42 pmRalph I totally agree, I viewed this speech on C-Span….it was phenominal….and intellectually sound!! I feel that those who support him need to sweep this country w/ one voice, in the approval of this President and his policies……The right, or the GOP, is spreading fearmongering, slander, anger/hate, and disingenuis rhetoric….to get back in power, and do nothing……..
